Ann has been working in the accounting field - training and assisting clients with record-keeping since 1994. She earned her license as a Certified Public Accountant in 2009 and opened Keeping Tabs Inc. to expand the business and to include tax preparation.
Ann has always had a love for accounting, and a special interest in agriculture. After growing up on a dairy farm, Ann attended OSU / ATI and graduated Summa Cum Laude, receiving the Director’s Award for being the Outstanding Student of her graduating year. She earned an associate degree in Dairy Cattle Production & Management from OSU / ATI. In 1994, she began working for Buckeye Career Center Adult Education where she worked with farm and small business owners for 16 years – teaching computerized record keeping and assisting clients with financial management of their businesses. She attended Kent State University in the evenings, and eventually earned her Teachers’ License, then went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting.
Ann is treasurer and board member of both the New Philadelphia Quaker Foundation and the Buckeye Career Center Foundation. She is also a current member and was one of the founding members of the Friends of Adult Education, Buckeye Career Center Foundation. She is a board member of The Frontier Power Company and joined the board for Consumers National Bank in 2023. Ann resides in New Philadelphia on her family farm.
Connie joined Keeping Tabs Inc full time in 2015. She handles an assortment of jobs including record-keeping, proofing client records, assisting clients with cash flows and loan applications, preparing payroll and payroll tax returns, preparing income tax returns, and consulting/training clients on The Agricultural Business System (TABS) software.
Prior to 2015, Connie spent over 10 years in Human Resources (Payroll, Compensation and Human Resource Information Systems) at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and 3 years as a branch manager at Agland Coop (now Heritage) in New Philadelphia.
Connie has an associate degree from Kent State University, where she graduated with honors. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, With Honors, from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University.
Connie currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Trinity Health System Twin City Medical Center Foundation and is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Ohio 4-H Foundation. She is also the Scholarship Chair for the Ohio State Alumni Club of Tuscarawas County. Connie is an adjunct faculty member at Kent State University – Tuscarawas Campus in the Agribusiness program – teaching classes in income tax management, record keeping and agribusiness.
Connie currently resides in Newcomerstown where she grew up an active 4-H member, raising and showing Hereford cattle.
